Cross Country: Cajuns Heads To College Station For Regional MeetPublished by
COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's cross country team heads prepares to race for the second time this season on the Dale Watts course as it will compete on Friday at the NCAA South Central Regional. The men's 10,000-meter race begins at 11 a.m. Live results will be available at RaginCajuns.com. Teams in the region meet are limited to seven runners of which the top five will compute a team score. The top two teams earn an automatic berth into the national championship field along with the top four individuals not associated with a qualifying team. The NCAA Championships will be held on Saturday, November 21, in Louisville, Kentucky. Louisiana returns to action after a fourth-place finish overall at the Sun Belt Conference Championships earlier this month in Atlanta, Sophomore Beau Robinson claimed first-team All-Sun Belt honors for the Ragin' Cajuns after earning a second-place finish in the 8K event with Matt Rice finishing 14th overall to earn third-team All-SBC honors. Sophomore Bryce Robinson posted a 16th-place finish for Louisiana with Cole Stafford earning a 33rd-place finish in the race.
