NEW ORLEANS The Sun Belt Conference announced the Ragin' Cajuns had 175 student-athletes were named to the 2013-14 Academic Honor Roll and Commissioner's List. In all, more than 1,700 student-athletes across the Sun Belt earned the honor, marking the fourth consecutive year that more than 1,700 athletes have been honored by the league.

The Ragin' Cajuns had 102 student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll, while another 73 earned recognition on the Commissioner's List.

The Commissioner's List is comprised of student-athletes who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the previous academic year, while the Academic Honor Roll is awarded to those maintaining a 3.0-3.49 GPA.

The 102 named to the Academic Honor Roll is second among Sun Belt schools, only behind Appalachian State's 109.

The UL football team led the way with 29 combined honorees, followed by baseball (23), women's track and field/cross country (21), and soccer and softball with 20 apiece. The Ragin' Cajuns baseball and softball teams had a department-high 11 members of the Commissioner's List.
