Cross Country: Limoh Named SBC Men's Cross Country Runner Of The WeekPublished by
NEW ORLEANS Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's cross country athlete Stanley Limoh picked up his first honor of the 2016 season when he was selected as the Sun Belt Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week in a release by the league office on Wednesday. Limoh, a freshman from Kapsabet, Kenya, led the Ragin' Cajuns last week at the 2016 Chili Pepper Festival (hosted by Arkansas) with a 13th-place finish. Limoh was one of two Ragin' Cajuns runner to finish in the top-15 as he covered the 8K course in 24:08.03 while helping the team to a ninth-place finish in the meet. On the season, Limoh has posted wins at both the Rice Invitational and LSU Cross Country Invitational in three events this fall. Louisiana, ranked No. 11 in the lateset USTFCCCA South Central Region poll, will return to action on October 15 when it travels to Clinton, Miss., to compete in the Mississippi College Choctaw Open.
