CLINTON, Miss. Stanley Limoh and Courtney Musgrove each claimed their respective races and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's cross country team claimed the team title at the Choctaw Open on Saturday at Choctaw Trails.

Limoh was one of five members of the Louisiana men's team to finish in the top nine and help the Ragin' Cajuns run away with the team crown with 27 points. ULM finished second in the meet with 64 points with Southeastern Louisiana third (125) and New Orleans (136) fourth.

The freshman completed the 8K course in 25:10:40, edging teammate Beau Robinson (25:10.43) and finishing 12 seconds ahead of third-place finisher Joshua Wilkins of Northwestern State.

Matt Rice finished seventh overall for the Ragin' Cajuns, posting a time of 26:12.17 with Dylan Heck (26:18.77) finishing eighth and Bryce Robinson (26:22.08) ninth. Cole Stafford finished 14^th for Louisiana with a time of 26:51.34, Marvin Hebenbrock was 17^th (27:08.59), Jacob Chicola 18^th (27:13.15), Reagan Lamaire 26^th (27:35.67) and Scott Brewster 28^th (27:44.54).

Musgrove was one of four members to cross the finish line in the top 18 runners after she covered the 5K course in 18:20.60 nearly 26 seconds faster than second-place finisher Clarissa Smith of Southeastern Louisiana. Lindsay LaGarde finished fourth for the Ragin' Cajuns with a time of 18:52.30 while Courtney Broussard was sixth (19:18.50) and Hailey Hesterman 18^th (20:32.10).

Louisiana will return to action on Oct. 29 when it competes at the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Troy, Ala.
