Cross Country: Limoh, Burger Pace @RaginCajunsTRK At Arturo Barrios Invitational

COLLEGE STATION, Texas Stanley Limoh and freshman Hannes Burger led the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's cross country team to an 18th-place finish at the Arturo Barrios Invitational on Saturday at the Watts Cross Country Course.

Louisiana, making its final tuneup before competing at the Sun Belt Conference Championships on Oct. 27, scored 428 points in the 28-team field and finished ahead of league foe Texas State, plus UTSA, Baylor and TCU in the standings.

Limoh paced the Ragin' Cajuns in the eight-kilometer race that featured 224 runners, crossing the finish line in 25:37.0 to finish 51st overall. Burger recorded a time of 25:46.5 to finish 63rd overall for Louisiana with Jonathan Kimutai (26:02.2) finishing 83rd, Shadrack Kipngeitch (26:34.1) 117th and George Femmer (26:48.6) 138th.

Andre Bellard (27:11.8), Key Alfred (27:13.8), Conner Meche (27:26.8) and Regan Lemaire (28:07.0) rounded out the Ragin' Cajuns men's field.

Senior Hailey Hesterman paced Louisiana's women's team for the third straight meet, posting a time of 24:12.3 on the 6K course with Ally McCulley (24:24.7), Teresa Bruning (24:28.0) and Alexa Breaux (27:15.5) following.
